Driving stakeholder engagement for Aspen Floating Offshore Windfarm

As an extension to its work for Cerulean, BIG was asked to lead stakeholder engagement for the Aspen project, ahead of a statutory offshore consultation and marine license application. BIG developed targeted messaging for the project and completed stakeholder mapping to ensure the right audiences were reached with the right messages. A detailed project plan was created to align internal stakeholders and consultants and keep the project team on track. BIG planned and managed a public consultation event and briefing for SFF members as well as updates to the project website, ensuring Cerulean met statutory requirements for public information. The team handled stakeholder enquiries, including preparing for media requests with FAQs and holding statements. BIG created all materials for events and meetings, including consultation boards, adverts, briefing packs, leaflets, posters and feedback forms.

“BIG Partnership has been a trusted partner to Cerulean Winds and our supply chain alliance since the very early days, building our profile and relevance with key stakeholders and their support was instrumental in securing our seabed leases. They managed our community engagement consultations seamlessly and are embedded in our team, securing opportunities for us as we progress this pioneering development.”
