Using our powers for good

It’s a difficult time across the board for the charity sector, with reduced funding and a general drop in donations.

Throw in increased competition for public attention and resource from fundraisers, and it’s clearly more important than ever that charities find effective ways to continue their amazing work. In our digital world, the smartest charities are finding new and innovative ways to reach important audiences.

Making a BIG difference wherever we can help

BIG has experience across numerous areas in this sector, from cancer charities to mental health, children’s services to social care, we’ve got the background and connections to help our clients make a real impact.

We may be BIG but we don’t only work with the larger charities – we’ve plenty of experience working with local and regional organisations, helping maximising the impact of their marketing activities.

Whether it’s launching fundraising campaigns or awareness raising activities for fundraisers and the charity’s beneficiaries, we’ve deployed a range of BIG services to help:

  • PR
  • Social Media
  • Video Content
  • Design
  • Events
  • Public Affairs
  • Award Entries

Speaking of awards, we’re also proud to have won a few for our work with charity clients, including CIPR Gold and PRCA Dare awards.

We also have an active CSR program and the BIG team can take a paid day off each year to volunteer at a charity of their choice.

We weren’t kidding about saving lives

One of the proudest moments for the BIG team of the past 20 years has been receiving a letter from a cancer survivor who had his symptoms checked after seeing one of our campaigns for North West Cancer Research. Early diagnosis meant rapid treatment and a complete recovery.

That helped our team secure the top prize award at the annual CIPR awards.
